UET Lahore: The University of Engineering and Technology

UET Lahore, the University of Engineering and Technology is a state-funded university situated in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan

gaining practical experience in science, innovation, design, and math (STEM) subjects.

It is the most established and one of the most specific design organizations in Pakistan.

Established in 1921 in Mughalpura, a rural area of Lahore, as Mughalpura Technical College.

It later turned into the ‘MacLagan Engineering College’, a name given to it in 1923 when Sir Edward Douglas MacLagan, the then

In 1932, it was subsidiary with the University of Punjab for the honor of Bachelor’s Degrees in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.

In 1939, the name was again different to Punjab College of Engineering and Technology, and a Civil Engineering certificate was likewise
