Islamabad: Islamabad to Karachi: Inauguration of Green Line Express train with modern facilities
Breakfast, lunch, high tea, dinner, and internet will be provided in the ticket price by a five-star hotel on the train.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif inaugurated the Green Line Express train equipped with modern facilities.
Equipped with modern facilities, this Green Line express train will provide one-passenger service from Islamabad to Karachi via the Pakistan Railway Main Line. This train will be operated with new coaches from China.
Green Line Express Train:
The green line running from Islamabad to Karachi will stop at Rawalpindi, Chaklala, Lahore, Khanewal, Bahawalpur, Rohri, Hyderabad, and Drug Road stations on the way.

A five-star hotel in Green Line will provide breakfast, lunch, high tea, dinner, and internet at ticket prices while high-quality bedding, utility kit, and housekeeping facilities will also be available.
The turnaround time of the Green Line has been set at 22 hours, the Green Line will run from Karachi at 10:00 PM, stop at Lahore at 2:30 PM the next afternoon, and reach Margalla at 8:30 PM.
Similarly, when going from Margalla to Karachi, the journey will start at three in the afternoon, the train will stop at Lahore at eight in the night, and it will reach Karachi at twenty minutes past two in the afternoon the next day.
